Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed launches the Dubai Housing Center project

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, directed the responsible institutions towards providing residential neighborhoods for citizens with the best standards of living in accordance with the highest international standards

The sources reported that His Highness launched the slogan “The Family is the Foundation of the Nation”, and in support of it his Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, initiated the opening of the Dubai Integrated Housing Center in the “Nad Al Sheba Avenue Mall” area.

The sources explained that the Dubai Housing Center includes 54 housing services for citizens from 4 government agencies in one location, and will begin providing its services next February.

Dubai Housing Project:

It represents an easy and comfortable experience for the citizen while building his home, as the responsible authority has provided the services of 4 concerned departments in one place, providing 54 services needed by the citizen, the center’s services will also be provided for advisory support for choosing designs that contribute to saving costs and financing with banks.

The center also contributes to achieving one of the most important goals of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which aims to make Dubai the optimal city with its living experience and housing services. In order to achieve one of the goals of the agenda, land and a housing loan were provided to every new Emirati family within a year of applying.

The sources pointed out that the 54 housing, land and construction services for citizens are provided through a number of institutions such as the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Dubai Municipality and the Land Department, in addition to two partners from the private sector, namely the Emirates Islamic Bank and the Sobha Real Estate.

The sources continued that the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment provides about 9 services as follows, Residential land grant, grant land exchange, housing construction loans and grants, a home purchase loan from the local market, and the standard model housing service, while Dubai Municipality provides 10 services, the most important of which are Choosing a plot of land, allocating land, issuing a map, changing a consultant or contractor, licensing annexes, and delivering services.

The Commissioner-General of the Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Quality of Life track explained that the Dubai Integrated Housing Center reflects the Dubai government’s commitment to providing integrated and effective housing services to citizens, as this step embodies the future vision of enhancing the quality of life in Dubai in line with Dubai Vision 2024.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, stated that the “Dubai Social Agenda 33”, announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, included the allocation of 14.5 billion dirhams until the year 2033 to support the housing of citizens in the emirate, through the development of integrated residential complexes. Contributes to building future Dubai neighborhoods.
