Emirates Airlines announces the suspension of travel completion for all customers through Dubai airport

Ahmed Moawad - | UAE

All clients within Emirates Airlines' network who are traveling on connecting flights through Dubai will not be able to check in for their flights until 23:59 GMT on April 19, according to an announcement sent by the airline.

In light of the recent adverse weather conditions that have been experienced at its hub in Dubai, Emirates Airlines has clarified that this decision was made in order to facilitate the recovery of company operations.

Continuing with the protocols for passengers and transit passengers who are already in Dubai, Emirates Airlines announced in an official statement that it will continue to accept passengers.

It has been confirmed that clients who are flying to Dubai as their ultimate destination are able to finish the processes required for their arrival and continue traveling as usual. Customers of Emirates Airlines are encouraged to visit the following website, emirates.com, in order to find the most recent information on the flight itinerary. Customers should be aware that there may be delays in both departure and arrival flights.

She provided information that passengers who were affected by the cancellation of their flights were required to contact either their travel agency or the phone center of Emirates Airlines in order to acquire alternatives for rebooking their flights.

"We are receiving a huge number of calls at the present time, and we apologize if you are unable to respond immediately," she said. "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause." We will do everything in our power to assist you in moving forward with your future trip arrangements. We have provided you with some extra options to get in touch with us.

Emirates Airlines would like to extend its most sincere apologies to every single one of its customers who have been inconvenienced by delays and disruptions to their travel arrangements. The airline recognizes how challenging this situation is for everyone who has been impacted.

As an additional point of interest, the airline stated that their personnel are stepping up their efforts to restore all of their planned flights as quickly as possible.

This week, a catastrophic storm raced over the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, generating record-breaking torrential rainfall, flooding roads and residents' houses, causing traffic disruptions, and forcing individuals to become trapped inside their homes.

On Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had a day that was labeled as "historic" since it was the day that there was the most amount of rain in its modern history that fell in several places over the course of the previous twenty-four hours. This rainfall was the greatest since the beginning of the collection of climatic data in the year 1949.
