The United Arab Emirates schedules a noon break, and violators face a fine of 50,000 dirhams.

The United Arab Emirates establishes a midday vacation date, and those who violate it face a punishment of 50,000 dirhams.

The work ban dates in the UAE during the summer.

In the UAE, the work ban is in effect on certain dates during the summer.

The UAE has announced that there will be a midday break from June 15 to September 15; violators will be subject to a fine of up to Dh50,000.

The guidelines prohibit performing any task in direct sunlight between 12:30 and 3:00.

On Friday, May 31, the authorities in the United Arab Emirates made the announcement that they would begin implementing a midday break beginning on June 15, 2024, and continuing until September 15, 2024.

For the twenty-first year in a row, the United Arab Emirates prohibits operating in open-air locations and under direct sunlight between the hours of 12.30 and 3.00 p.m.

The UAE imposes a penalty for breaking the summertime working hours ban.

In the United Arab Emirates, there is a punishment for violating the ban on working hours during the summertime.

The authorities will impose a fine of Dh5,000 on each employee who works during the midday break. The fine might exceed Dh50,000 if multiple employees are working during the break at the same time, according to the authorities.

The law enforcement officials said that there are certain jobs that are exempt from the policy. Even during the lunch break, there is a possibility that work related to fundamental services, such as the provision of water or electricity, the blocking of traffic, the laying of asphalt, or the pouring of concrete on road works, can continue.

It will be necessary for businesses to submit a request for a permit in order to continue functioning during the break.

Employers must provide facilities like parasols and shaded spaces to protect workers exposed to direct sunlight. Fans, an adequate supply of drinking water, and first aid supplies must be accessible in the work areas.

According to Mohsin Al Nassi, Assistant Undersecretary for Inspection Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), "Implementing the Midday Break has become a deeply ingrained culture in the UAE's business community and among private-sector companies in the country." This is due to the midday break's function in ensuring the health and safety of workers, whom we consider to be the most valuable resource of any company.

Additionally, in order to guarantee compliance, the ministry will initiate awareness campaigns and conduct field visits to areas of activity.
