On Saturday, February 24, provisional road closures will be implemented in Abu Dhabi in order to facilitate the passage of the UAE Tour 2024 cycling race through the city.

Drivers have been notified of the closures by the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) and event organizers. They are advised to be vigilant and anticipate potential disruptions while operating a motor vehicle during the event.

Scheduled to take place from February 19–25, the UAE Tour is a prominent cycling event organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. It is the sole UCI WorldTour race in the Middle East and attracts top cyclists from around the world.

The route includes landmarks such as Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island, Qasr Al Hosn, and Abu Dhabi Breakwater, offering spectators and participants a scenic journey through the emirate.
