UAE comes in second.. Where are the best places for expats to start over?

According to a research by worldwide network InterNations, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the second-best country in the world for international employees to start a new life abroad because of its simple communication systems and few bureaucratic hurdles.

According to InterNations, which surveyed 11,970 expats in 181 countries or territories last year for information on various elements of life as an expat, Bahrain ranked first on the Expat Essentials Index in terms of enabling a smooth transition to persons migrating to the nation.

According to InterNations' annual report, published on Tuesday, Singapore ranked third, followed by Estonia and Oman.

Indonesia came in at number six, just below Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kenya, and Canada.

Housing, language, digital life, and administrative issues were the four pillars on which the Expat Essentials Index was built.

Expats had the worst time adjusting to life in Japan (51) and China (50), followed by Germany (52nd).

InterNations, a global community of expats, with more than 4.5 million members. "Foreigners in all three countries struggle with the local language and a lack of digitalisation," the organisation claimed.

According to a survey conducted by health insurance provider Cigna last September, the United Arab Emirates topped the list of nations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia for expats to relocate to.

Cigna's 360° Global Well-Being Survey found that 4% of all expats wished to move to the UAE because of its progressive legislative improvements, recent visa reforms, and economic revival following Covid-19.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Arab world's second-largest economy, has implemented a number of economic, legal, and social reforms in the past few years in an effort to improve the country's business climate, increase FDI, recruit qualified people, and entice businesses to locate to the country.

The eligibility requirements for the golden visa project were simplified and the categories of recipients were expanded in 2019.
