Emirates Airlines officially announces passport-stamping gates for children

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai disclosed that it plans to expand its innovative service for kid travellers to Dubai, referring to the passport platform for children that allows them to stamp their own passports.

During their experience of the novel service at Dubai Airport, which is the first of its kind in the world, youngsters of many nationalities created an atmosphere of delight and happiness.

Airport personnel expressed surprise that many children arriving in the nation are aware of the service and want to walk through their own gate.

During the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs launched new passport platforms in the arrivals hall (Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport), targeting children (4-12 years) to give them the opportunity to stamp their passports themselves, while specialised supervisors were assigned. And experts in the field of dealing with children from passport officers to help children learn, assist them, and answer their questions.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Ahmed Al-Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, stated that the administration intends to expand the innovative service to include all arrival halls at Dubai airports, emphasising that it is part of the "Dubai residence" strategy and its efforts to make customers and travellers happy through Dubai airports. And within the plans to improve and develop services, in accordance with the General Administration's strategies and annual plans, through which it establishes a number of axes and targets, which include a number of voluntary and community actions, initiatives, and activities undertaken by Dubai Residence within the scope of social responsibility. And he went on to say, "The administration aims through this platform to provide a unique and unique experience for children to stamp their passports, build trust between Dubai and travellers coming from all over the world, and enhance belonging to the city of amazement Dubai, in addition to publishing introductory content about Dubai landmarks, Dubai Airport, and Emirates Airlines, specifically for children."

He stated that the administration is eager to include children in its annual plans, which are part of its overall strategy, as part of its societal responsibilities and pivotal role in educating children, giving them self-confidence, and giving them the opportunity to live an experience that simulates the work of a passport officer, by allowing them to stamp their passports.

He emphasised that the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai is thoroughly studying its initiatives and plans to determine their importance and ability to achieve their goals, particularly those relating to children, because the goal of the initiatives and activities revolves around empowering the child, increasing his knowledge balance, developing his talents, and empowering his abilities, and explaining that Dubai Residence chose qualified officers.
