RTA announced the closure of some Dubai Metro stations due to the effects of rain a week ago

rawda samy - | UAE

As a result of the effects of rain, the Dubai Metro Authority (RTA) stated a week ago that certain stations will be closed.

There are still four stations on the Red Line that are closed, and the massive congestion is causing passengers to be delayed.

According to the RTA, the Dubai metro train is currently operating between Centrepoint and Expo 2020 as well as UAE exchange stations.

The rain affected Dubai Metro services.

Due to the rain, Dubai Metro services were disrupted.

The tremendous rainfall that occurred in the United Arab Emirates last week continues to have an impact on the services provided by the Dubai Metro. The operations had nearly come to a complete halt, which resulted in a large number of passengers being left stranded and caused big lineups to form at stations all around the emirate.

The Onpassive, Equiti, Al Mashreq, and Energy stations are the only ones where the metro does not stop, despite the fact that the Red Line has been made operational in both directions.

According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the Dubai metro is now operational from Centrepoint to Expo 2020 and UAE exchange stations. This information was included in the update.

RTA announces the closure of four stations on the Dubai Metro.

It has been announced by the RTA that four stations on the Dubai Metro will be closed.

Commuters who are arriving from the Centrepoint Metro station are required to change to another station at either the Business Bay or Al Khail stations, according to the transit authorities. After that, you will need to make use of shuttle buses in order to get to the subsequent stop. Commuters, on the other hand, are pointing to the low frequency of shuttle bus services as the source of their travel difficulties.

RTA has made the announcement that "due to ongoing efforts to manage the impacts on certain Metro Stations, we want to inform you about changes to the Metro Red Line schedule in Dubai."

On Monday morning, Laraib Anwer stated that there was an excessive number of people at the Abu Hail station. Before providing passengers with access to the platform, the officials overseeing the metro system instructed them to wait at the ground level. A number of commuters were required to wait for more than twenty minutes before they were allowed to board the platforms.
