A tracking system that was developed to gather information on illicit actions, the outcomes of investigations, previous discoveries, and a comprehensive database that detailed the network and its participants were utilised in order to identify the individuals who were a part of the criminal ring.
According to Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, who serves as the Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs in Dubai, the GDRFA places the utmost importance on safeguarding the safety and security of its citizens.
"The Government of the Democratic Republic of the Philippines is dedicated to enhancing its readiness to navigate emerging challenges by deploying advanced digital systems, improving the efficiency of personnel, and fostering close collaboration with authorities from the federal government." Additionally, it is committed to enhancing cooperation with international security authorities in order to properly manage and minimise any threats linked to crimes of this nature.
In order to improve both national and international security, Lieutenant General Al Marri underlined the significance of working together to combat crimes that occur across international borders.
The person who was in charge of the operation emphasised the rapid reaction that the GDRFA provided after conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the systems and getting together the data. The successful destruction of the network and the arrest of its members served as evidence of the department's commitment, thorough plan, and coordinated efforts with strategic partners. The official reaffirmed that the GDRFA is committed to tackling security concerns by continuously improving both its people and technical resources.
Additionally, the official emphasised the importance of continuous field surveillance and monitoring as integral components in the process of identifying the individual who is responsible for the logistical operations of the criminal network. Beginning with the moment the members of the group arrived at the hotel and continuing until the moment they left, they were under intense observation. The moves that they made at the airport were also monitored quite extensively.
The monitoring that was carried out in the operations room revealed that they were involved in suspicious actions that were related to an illegal immigration operation.
As a consequence, they were apprehended, and legal proceedings were initiated against them.
During their time in the country, the member of the group who was in charge of logistics coordination was investigated. GDRFA sources obtained intelligence that revealed his involvement in assisting an illegal immigration operation through one of the nation's airports. This information was uncovered by using intelligence.
Following this, the Ministry of Interior, which was also represented by the airport police, was informed, and a collaborative team was established in order to facilitate the sharing of security information.
