The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the UAE announced urgent and new decisions related to health insurance documents for customers wishing to submit requests to renew residency or issue a new residency for residents of the Emirates, starting from February 19 of this month.
The authority explained in a press release that the new project issued by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security comes in the context of the authority’s plan to eliminate government bureaucracy for the services provided by the authority in response to the directives of the wise leadership and to fulfill the requirements of the Emirates Program for Distinguished Government Services.
The Emirates Authority confirmed that this new project aims to provide a decent life, raise the level of health well-being for all residents of the United Arab Emirates, and preserve their health rights.
The project, which was revealed by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the Emirates, also includes providing health insurance data issued by accredited health insurance companies in the Emirates directly electronically through the electronic link with the companies without the need for the resident customer to download the insurance document when submitting a request to renew residency for himself and for individuals. His family.
The project will also contribute to shortening the time for providing the service as a result of canceling the procedure for raising the insurance policy as a basic requirement that is currently being implemented to accept the application for the service.
In addition to the keenness of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the UAE to consolidate the concepts of protecting human rights and ensuring that the resident obtains the health rights guaranteed by the law and legislation adopted in the country, which ensures improving the quality of life of society and providing a decent life for residents and their families.
