UAE Digital Government has removed the type of profession or job as a requirement, to enable expatriates to obtain residence visas for their families.

UAE government also allowed foreigners residing in the country to issue a residence visa to their family members to live and reside with them, as long as they have valid residencies within the country, noting that the resident head of the family must meet certain conditions, most notably the minimum salary of 4,000 dirhams per month or the salary of 3,000 dirhams With living.

The UAE government indicated that family members over the age of 18 must undergo a medical fitness examination determined by the state, and it is conducted in one of the approved health centers such as (residency medical examination and examination centers in Abu Dhabi), health fitness examination centers in Dubai, and medical examination to obtain residence visas - Emirates Health Services Corporation).

She added that a mother can take care of her children according to certain conditions determined by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and Customs and Ports Security, the resident is also allowed to be sponsored by his parents, provided that the residence visa is granted annually, regardless of the sponsor’s length of stay.

The government stipulates that the resident who wishes to change his family’s sponsorship status from a temporary entry permit to a residence visa must complete the procedures for adjusting the status within a maximum period of 60 days from entering the country, noting that residency is not granted to persons who are medically unfit, such as the applicant suffering from From a medical condition ex Pulmonary tuberculosis (PD) old or inactive.

The sources reported that this person is given a health fitness certificate for residency that says “under treatment", and then enjoys a residence visa for only one year, with a warning to conduct the aforementioned tests in the country of origin, the person wishing to come to reside before coming to the country.

The government explained that the terms and conditions of residence visas are subject to change depending on the circumstances the country is going through, and to inquire about any information, individuals can contact the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, or the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
