Granting Canadian citizenship to construction workers

Miller added that there are currently up to about 600,000 people residing in Canada without valid legal documents, and many of the accused also work for decades and have families and individuals.
These residents face the risk of deportation from Canada because they do not have proper and official documents, and the government is seeking to legalize their status during the coming period.
Establishing a program for workers who are not legally registered in Canada
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has been considering creating a program for undocumented and undocumented workers since shortly after the recent Canadian election.
In the mandate letter sent to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Immigration Department requested to continue exploring ways to regulate the status of undocumented workers who contribute to Canadian communities.
