The Canadian government has announced new updates to study visas for international students who wish to continue their education within the country. These new amendments include an online platform for relevant educational institutions (DLIS) to verify LOAS letters of acceptance.
The government added that it must confirm the disbursement-linked indicators on delegation delegations within 10 days, stressing that failure to submit them will result in the cancellation of the visa application. Through these recent decisions, the government aims to prevent fraud and simplify the process for those wishing to study in Canada.
Authentication of acceptance letters

An updated form of application for a study permit in Canada
It is worth noting that the Canadian government has issued an updated version of the IMM1294 study permit application form in Canada on December 1 of last year, 2023.
The Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) requires applicants to use the latest version when submitting study permit applications.
Confirming that applications received starting from last December 1, in which the previous form is used, the application will be considered valid and will be rejected immediately.
