The termination date of Lulu's UAE product discounts

Abdallah Shahin - | Business

On the occasion of Ramadan, which is scheduled to continue the discounts despite the high international prices, the management of the Lulu Group in the UAE has announced the end date of the Lulu discounts on goods in the UAE. This announcement was made in light of the fact that the discounts were scheduled to continue during the month of Ramadan.

Lulu discounts end date

During the press conference that was held yesterday to announce the beginning of the Ramadan discounts campaign, which will begin today (Wednesday) and continue until Eid Al-Fitr, he added that "(the group) has been working with suppliers, whether inside or outside the UAE, for months to prevent raising the supply prices for various commodities." This was said on the sidelines of the press conference that was held to announce the beginning of the Ramadan discounts campaign. Because there are issues on a global scale that influence the availability of commodities as well as the prices of those goods.

The fact that prices increase during deals at Lulu

The Executive Director of the international LuLu Group, Ashraf Ali M.A., claimed that "the price of any commodity will not be raised in Ramadan in the country's markets," even in the case of a rise in the prices of its supply or an increase in the prices of its commodity on the global market.

Products offered at Lulu Sale

He emphasised that "all commodities are available in the country's markets, and there is no shortage of any commodity," pointing to the presence of a large stock of various commodities, whether food or consumer, to ensure that consumers' needs are met, and work to support the efficiency of supply chains to face any global shortage or any Emergency international circumstances, so that it does not affect the availability of goods or their prices in the country. He also stated that "there is no shortage of any commodity" in the country.
In his explanation, Kumar stated that "The Ramadan campaign also includes a market for fresh meat and poultry, which includes price reductions and festivals for dates, Ramadan sweets, ready meals, and organic and gluten-free products."

60% discount at Lulu

He mentioned that the Ramadan promotion offers reductions of up to sixty percent on more than ten thousand different goods beginning last Wednesday and continuing through the end of the holy month of Ramadan. In addition to groceries, vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, electrical and domestic appliances, phones, clothes, gifts, and so on, as well as 200 different items, all of which continue to be offered at the same price, it encompasses both essential and non-essential goods and commodities.

Lulu discount locations

He stated that the discounts will be offered in more than 97 hypermarkets and supermarkets that are part of the "Lulu" group in the UAE, in addition to the "Lulu" platforms that are accessible via the Internet.

The price of Lulu's Ramadan basket

Nanda Kumar, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the "group," stated that "(the group) has offered, since the beginning of the discounts, two Ramadan baskets, the first at 85 dirhams, and the second at 120 dirhams, and includes a number of basic commodities that are in high demand in Ramadan." Nanda Kumar is responsible for marketing and corporate communications at the "group." He brought up the fact that during the past few years there has been a significant demand for purchasing Ramadan baskets, particularly for the purpose of contributing to philanthropic endeavours.

Give via Lulu to those in need.

Noting that there is full coordination with Dubai Cares to donate one dirham of the value of each Lulu product to the needy, as well as coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, in order to provide an opportunity for consumers to donate meals inside and outside the UAE, starting at 10 dirhams, we would like to draw attention to the fact that both of these organisations are working together to make this possible. In addition, those who are in need can receive support in the form of vouchers valued at 100, 250, or 500 dirhams.
