Warning from Dubai Airports as Emirates and Flydubai resume flights

Asma Ahmed - | UAE

As Dubai International Airport gradually resumes flight operations, Dubai Airports has issued a crucial advisory, urging departing guests to ensure they arrive at their respective terminals three hours before their scheduled departure times.

The advisory aims to alleviate concerns about overcrowding within the airport premises. Dubai Airports emphasizes the importance of adhering to the recommended timeframe and cautions against arriving too early, as this could exacerbate congestion issues.

The advisory was communicated via various social media channels to reach a wide audience efficiently. It underscores the necessity for travelers to follow the specified terminal arrival time to streamline departure processes and maintain operational efficiency at the airport. This measure aligns with the ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth transition as flight services gradually resume.

The alert coincides with the resumption of flight services by UAE carriers from Dubai International Airport. In an official communication addressed to customers, Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, confirmed the restoration of regular flight schedules as of Saturday, April 20. Additionally, passengers who were previously stranded in the airport's transit area have been successfully rebooked and are en route to their respective destinations.

Flydubai has also resumed its full flight schedule, operating from Terminals 2 and 3 at DXB. The airline has reiterated its commitment to prioritizing passengers whose travel plans were disrupted, emphasizing its dedication to ensuring seamless travel experiences amidst the ongoing operational adjustments.

As Dubai International Airport gradually resumes its operations, the airport urges departing guests to adhere to the advised terminal arrival time of three hours before departure to mitigate overcrowding concerns. This precautionary measure aligns with the efforts of UAE carriers, such as Emirates and Flydubai, to restore regular flight services and accommodate passengers affected by previous disruptions. The collaborative approach between Dubai Airports and airlines aims to facilitate a seamless transition as air travel gradually returns to normalcy.
