On the occasion of Arafah Day and Eid al-Adha, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization of the United Arab Emirates announced that the period beginning on 9 Dhu al-Hijjah, which corresponds to June 27, and ending on 12 Dhu al-Hijjah, which corresponds to June 30, will be an official paid holiday for all employees in the private sector in the country. This holiday will take place between June 27 and June 30.
This is part of the implementation of the decision made by the Council of Ministers regarding the official holidays that have been granted for the business sector as well as the government.
On this auspicious occasion, the minister sent his best wishes of congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of the UAE, as well as to the residents of its territory and the nations of the Arab and Islamic worlds.
On the other hand, in preparation for the Blessed Eid al-Adha, the slaughterhouses that are run by the Al Ain Municipality have improved their readiness. This is so that they can give the victims and beneficiaries of this service with the greatest services possible, in accordance with the best international principles.
The preparations for the slaughterhouses, which were spread out over Al Ain's 11 slaughterhouses, required the provision of 450 staff, including veterinarians, butchers, and workers, for shifts that lasted for a total of 14 hours each day and were broken up into two shifts in the morning and in the evening.
The municipality reports that the fees for slaughtering sacrifices during Eid have not changed from the previous year. The prices are as follows: 15 dirhams for lambs and goats, 25 dirhams for calves and camels, and 40 dirhams for cows and camels.
