A public holiday will be observed for all personnel working in the private sector on Monday, January 1, 2024, according to an announcement made by the Ministry of Human Resources on Thursday.

In a tweet, the organization said that "The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announces that Monday, 1 January 2024, will be New Year’s Day paid holiday for all private sector employees in UAE."

Number of public holidays in 2024
