This follows the announcement on Sunday by the UAE government that public sector workers will get a one-week break.

Federal employees in Sharjah who typically work a four-day workweek will be given a 10-day holiday to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the fasting season, as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the official weekend days for them.
