The Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates announced the ban on New Year’s celebrations, in solidarity with the current conditions that Palestine is suffering from and the brutal aggression by the Israeli occupation forces and the bombing of citizens.
The company's general leadership in the Emirate of Sharjah stated that fireworks displays on New Year's Eve are also prohibited.
Requiring individuals and institutions to cooperate and commit
Sharjah Police in the United Arab Emirates called for the necessity of compliance by everyone on its territory, including citizens, residents, and institutions in the country.
And cooperation between all sectors in Sharjah, to implement the decisions taken by the Sharjah Police General Command, stressing that it will take all legal measures against those who violate these decisions.
Human solidarity with the Palestinian cause
The Sharjah company confirmed, in an official statement published on its Facebook account for social networking, that this solidarity comes within the framework of deep-rooted intellectual and cultural solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
She also called on the police to adhere to these instructions, so as not to fall under the penalty of the law, and stressed the condition that all legal measures be taken against those who violate these instructions.
