The UAE renders a determination concerning the acquisition of a Canadian visitor visa for its citizens and residents.
Are you considering going to Canada for a holiday or to see your relatives there instead of going somewhere else?
The majority of inhabitants of the UAE are required to have a visitor visa in order to travel to Canada. To determine whether or not you are required to have a visa in order to visit Canada, you can take a brief quiz on the official website, .Additionally, you will be able to see a list of nationalities that are excluded from entering the country without a permit.
Applicants are required to submit their applications through VFS Global, which is the authorized visa service provider for Canada in the Emirates.
Every application must be accompanied by a consent document that has been signed by the applicant, which gives VFS permission to collect biometric information for the procedure. The VFS website has the form that can be filled out.
This is a step-by-step tutorial that will walk you through the process of applying from the United Arab Emirates, including the documentation that you will need to submit.
The first step is to fill out the paperwork
On the website of the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), you will find the application form for obtaining a visa.
You are required to submit the form in an electronic format. After the form has been completely filled out, it must be printed using a laser printer on white paper that is of bond quality and does not seem glossy. This includes any barcoded sheets that may be included.
- Forms that are written by hand are not permitted.
In addition to the application, the IRCC stipulates that supporting documentation must be submitted. A document checklist is required to be sent in addition to the form that you are filling out. The required documents are listed in the order that they should be collected and submitted, as specified in the document. Documents such as proof of residence, a copy of the passport, a marriage certificate, and proof of financial support are among those that are required, but this list is not exhaustive.
In addition to the application form, you are required to fill out a consent form and attach it to the application.
The second step is to schedule an appointment
if you have not already presented the application form online, you will be required to go to a visa application center (which in this instance would be a VFS center) in order to proceed with the process. For whatever reason, you are required to schedule an appointment in order to have your biometrics (photos and fingerprints) taken.
There are five different ways that you can schedule an appointment: online, over the phone, through an email application utilizing a web form, using web chat on the VFS website, or in person at a VFS center.
After the appointment has been scheduled, the applicant will receive an email including a confirmation of the appointment for their records.
Remember that even if a family or group submits an application together, they will still be required to schedule separate appointments for each member of the group.
Paying the visa application fee is the third step
During the appointment, you will have the opportunity to pay the charge. There is the Government of Canada as well. Fee and biometric fee must be paid in accordance with the instructions provided on the website of the IRCC.
Visiting the application center is the fourth step
At the application center, you will be able to submit your application and biometrics, to pay the fees, and to receive a receipt.
The receipt will provide you with a one-of-a-kind tracking number that will enable you to monitor the development of your application through the use of the internet.
