Canada: The government requires employers to have this requirement for all job advertisements

Ahmed Moawad - | World

Canada: The government obliges employers with this condition. The government of one of the Canadian provinces, “Ontario,” announced a mandatory condition for employers in Canada, when they advertise jobs.

The government in the Canadian province of Ontario decided to require all job advertisements in Canada to display salaries clearly

She also added that it is illegal for employers in Canada to ask for Canadian work experience in their job advertisements

These new decisions from the Ontario provincial government represent victories not only for the Ontario workforce, but also for new residents of Ontario, who have been kept out of the professions they are qualified for due to their lack of Canadian experience.

Job skills needed in Ontario

For Canadian residents who hope to obtain permanent residency and have not yet chosen a career path, attention to the skills required within the province of Ontario can be an advantage in finding a job in Ontario.

The skills required in the labor market in Canada reflect the gaps, as the number of workers does not meet the need for employment, and this information is also used by the Ontario Provincial Nomination Program to determine economic candidates who will be nominated for permanent residence in Ontario.

Newcomers to Ontario who have the required skills may have a better chance of finding work, immigrating and settling permanently in Ontario, because of the inherent value they bring to the labor market in the Canadian province of Ontario.

Canadian experience is not currently necessary to find work

Recent legislation passed by the Canadian government has made the need for Canadian experience unnecessary to find work in Ontario, and this gives new people coming to Ontario to give themselves the best opportunity for employment, especially those with regulated professions.

Relying on Canadian experience is no longer a legal requirement for many professions in Canada, but it means to employers that workers trained abroad can perform their jobs in accordance with local regulations and standards.
