It is expected that the Fuel Price Committee of the United Arab Emirates will shortly announce the prices of gasoline and diesel for the month of April.
In accordance with the deregulation strategy that was announced in 2015, the prices are adjusted at the end of each month so that they are in line with the rates that are used internationally.
The price of gasoline rose in March
The price of gasoline in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased for the second consecutive month in March 2024. The price of a liter of Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus 91 was Dh3.03, Dh2.92, and Dh2.85, respectively.
As a result of a tighter supply picture and increased geopolitical risk, the price of oil traded higher over the world in March 2024 compared to the previous month.
Crude oil prices
Midway through the month of March, crude prices reached a four-month high as a result of the International Energy Agency's projections of a tighter market and its own demand growth projections for this year.
Price of an ounce of West Texas Intermediate crude oil
The price of an ounce of WTI crude was $83.17, representing a 2.24 percent increase. Brent was trading 1.86 percent higher at $87.0 at the time of this writing.
In March 2024, the price of a barrel of Brent was approximately $84.25 on average, which was below the previous month's average of $81.3. On either Saturday or Sunday, the pricing for April will be revealed, and it is likely that this $3 rise in the average price that occurred in March will be reflected in those prices.
Residents and companies in the United Arab Emirates are eagerly anticipating the monthly rates of petrol and diesel so that they may plan their fuel expenditures.
