The obstacles that were presented by floods in different regions of the emirate were acknowledged by his father, who expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the search expedition.

A wave of relief washed over a Sharjah family today as their missing teenage son, Mohammad Abdullah, was found safe. The 17-year-old Pakistani national had been unaccounted for since Sunday, April 14th, sparking a desperate search that unfolded amidst the challenges posed by recent floods in the emirate.

Ali, Mohammad's father, confirmed the news in a text message to Khaleej Times early this morning, stating that his son is in the custody of Sharjah Police. While details surrounding his disappearance and return remain unclear, Ali expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the search efforts.

"We appreciate everything everyone has done in order to find him," Ali said in a statement, his words echoing the immense relief felt by the family. The search, hampered by floodwaters in parts of Sharjah, had intensified in recent days. Mohammad's sudden disappearance, after leaving home to fetch a carpenter from a nearby furniture market, had plunged his family into a state of deep worry. His mother, Ayesha, reportedly struggled to eat and constantly prayed for his safe return.

The news of Mohammad's safe return offers a beacon of hope in the aftermath of a stressful ordeal. Local authorities are expected to release further details in the coming hours. This story serves as a reminder of the importance of community support and swift action in such situations.
