UAE announces a penalty of up to Dh20,000

At the beginning of March, the RAK Police made the announcement that the change will take effect.

In accordance with the new directions, motorists who break the law by participating in a march or procession that violates traffic laws will have their vehicles booked for a length of time ranging from fifteen to twenty days. A fee ranging from Dh1,000 to Dh10,000 must be paid by those who wish to release their automobiles that have been impounded earlier than expected.

In the event that a motorist is discovered driving without a license plate or with a number that is not accurate, their car will be impounded for a period of one hundred twenty days. In order to receive an early release, those who have violated the law are required to pay Dh20,000.

It is possible for a motorist to have their car seized for a period of sixty days if they make changes to their vehicle that are prohibited in order to improve its speed or loudness. In order to maintain possession of their car, individuals will be required to pay a penalty of Dh5,000.

Not only does the new order contain fines for abandoning auto components in undesignated sites, but it also includes penalties for leaving them on public and private highways. In addition to this, it has enacted restrictions regarding the transportation of water and rules regarding the selling of automobiles in areas that are not specifically approved for such sales.
