UAE Meteorology warns of increasing chances of rain in some areas this week

The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE warned of the expected weather until next Wednesday, with the possibility of rain in some areas.

Chance of some clouds forming

The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE explained that the weather condition will be light to moderate and fast, indicating that there is a chance that some local cumulonimbus clouds will form on the mountains in the east in the afternoon, accompanied by some rain.

Increased chance of light rain

According to the official statement published by the National Center of Meteorology in the UAE through its account on the Sometimes heavy in limited areas, especially in the east.

Adding to the possibility of light to moderate rain falling in many eastern regions next Wednesday, the National Center of Meteorology in the United Arab Emirates stressed that it will follow developments immediately.

Weather conditions in the UAE from Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26

According to the weather forecast in the Emirates, according to the statement published by the National Center of Meteorology, it is as follows:

  • On Monday, there is a possibility of light rain in certain western regions and on the islands.
  • It is possible that there may be mild to moderate rain on Tuesday, particularly in the eastern parts.
  • On Wednesday, there will be a decrease in temperatures along with a partial cloud cover and a little possibility of light rain in the far northeastern parts at midday.
  • Thursday: The afternoon will be partly overcast to sometimes cloudy, and there is a chance of light rain in the districts that are located in the far north and the east.
  • On Friday, there is a likelihood that some cumulus clouds will form in the eastern part of the sky, and there is also a risk that rain may fall on the mountains in the afternoon.

Winds are light to moderate speed

"The winds are light to moderate in speed, active at times," the center noted in its daily statement. The center also mentioned that the winds' movement is southeasterly to northeasterly, ranging from 10 to 20 kilometers per hour, and reaching 35 kilometers per hour.

With the first tide occurring at 12:23, the second tide occurring at 00:54, the first low tide occurring at 18:22, and the second low tide occurring at 07:10, the waves in the Arabian Gulf will be mild to medium in intensity.

The first low tide happens at 15:06, the second low tide occurs at 03:32, and the waves in the Sea of Oman are mild. The first tide occurs at 09:16, the second tide occurs at 20:52, and the first low tide occurs at 15:06.

Climate experts warn of “more severe” phenomena

It is anticipated by scientists that climate change would result in greater temperatures, increased humidity, and the possibility of floods in certain regions of the Gulf. The problem may be even more severe in nations that do not have the necessary sanitary infrastructure to deal with frequent and intense rainfall.
