UAE warns of a fine of up to 10,000 dirhams due to rain damage
As stated by ADDED, the organization has distributed a circular to businesses that are involved in the repair, maintenance, and selling of spare parts for automobiles and automotive vehicles.
According to ADDED, "We call on all economic establishments engaged in repairing, maintaining, and selling spare parts for cars and vehicles to refrain from increasing the prices of services and spare parts of any kind." This is because the recent unfavorable weather conditions have caused several cars and vehicles to sustain damage.
The authority has stated that it would carry out field inspections in order to investigate and verify that businesses do not increase the rates of their automobile repair services or the pricing of their automobile replacement components.
Individuals who are found to be in violation of the prohibition on price increases will be subject to a fine of Dh3,000 for the first offense and Dh6,000 for the second offense. As a result of the third offense, the punishment will be increased to Dh8,000. If you commit a fourth offense, you will be subject to a maximum punishment of Dh10,000 and the facility will be shut down.
