A program to nationalize the most important profession in the United Arab Emirates has been announced by the UAE nation.

In order to develop the cadres of the education sector, the UAE cadres Competitiveness Council "Nafs" and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization have launched the "Teachers" program. This program includes training and specialized programs that are required in the labor market for job seekers, as well as approved professional licensing programs that will qualify them to work in the private education sector and bring about an improvement in the education process.

The most important programs for job seekers

In addition to kindergarten teachers, Primary Stages, special education needs, educational guidance and guidance specialists, and educational leadership professions, the program aims to employ one thousand citizens annually beginning in 2024 and up to four thousand citizens until 2027. These individuals will be employed in the private educational sector in four stages, which include administrative and school professions, educational professions that include teachers of the Arabic language, Islamic education, sociology, and national education, and educational professions that include teachers of the Arabic language.

The program is geared toward individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree and are interested in teaching and other school-related professions. Additionally, the program is designed to support the secondary school campaign for administrative and auxiliary professions. Those who are interested in enrolling in the program can do so by visiting the "Nafs" platform.

In particular, the program makes a contribution to the attainment of the mandatory yearly Emiratization targets by the private education sector. This is especially true if the program concludes job contracts with program affiliates or employment contracts that are designed for citizens who are studying.

Accords of understanding and memorandums

In order to ensure that the program is carried out in accordance with the highest possible standards, the United Arab Emirates cadres Competitiveness Council, also known as Nafs, has formed five memorandums of understanding with the Higher Colleges of technology, the United Arab Emirates University, the University of Sharjah, the Sharjah Academy of education, and the Emirates College for educational development.

Objective of the memorandum of understanding

Aiming to raise the level of competitiveness of Emirati cadres and promote sustainable career opportunities for them to work in the private sector and the education sector in particular, the MoU aims to enhance cooperation and coordination in order to implement bridging and development programs for administrative professions, teachers' professions, and school professions in order to support the education sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) within the framework of the conditions and standards of the programs and initiatives of the "Nafis" program. Additionally, the MoU intends to qualify and train Emirati cadres of job seekers and provide them with the knowledge and skills indispensable for employment in the education sector.

Creating and implementing training programs

The memoranda outline the academic authorities' commitment to create and execute training programs based on the training needs identified by private educational authorities. These programs aim to empower citizens to fill specific job positions. Additionally, the academic authorities will provide support for completing registration procedures, tests, admissions, and the follow-up of individual development plans, as well as other operational matters.

The academic authorities are also dedicated to providing trainers, laboratories, and workshops to implement the training in order to guarantee the enhancement of the level of knowledge and skills possessed by trainees, as well as to guarantee that the outputs are of the highest quality and conform to the most stringent criteria.
