In celebration of the upcoming year 2024, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai is preparing to welcome the new year with a bang by providing luxurious services and experiences on board maritime transportation options.

In keeping with the festivities, Abra, Water Taxi, and the Dubai Ferry will set sail on a spectacular coastal tour of Dubai, offering a spectacular vista of the city's famous attractions.

Times and costs for the midnight hour

Dubai Ferry trips on December 31st will start between 10 and 10:30 p.m. and run until 1:30 a.m. the next day. The same time period will also see the operation of Water Taxi and Abra rides, which begin between 10 and 10:30 p.m. and end at 1:30 a.m.

The Marina Mall station at Dubai Marina is where both the Abra and Water Taxi rides will begin. The price of an Abra ride is Dh150 per person, and you may reserve the whole water taxi for Dh3,750. Those under the age of two can ride the attraction at no cost.

Cruises throughout Dubai, which include stops at Marina Mall, Ghubaiba, and Bluewaters, will leave from stations that provide stunning panoramas. Prices range from Dh350 for the silver class to Dh525 for the gold class; with the gold class, you may enjoy a 50% discount for children aged 2 to 10, as well as free rides for infants under two.
