Important statement from Dubai Roads to all motorists and the diversion of some roads

In an important statement that was distributed to all drivers in the emirate, the Dubai routes Authority brought attention to the fact that certain routes have been rerouted.

As a result of the existence of water puddles on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai made the decision to redirect traffic that was headed in the direction of Sharjah.

The authority announced through the "X" platform that the flow of traffic from the Emirate of Dubai to the Emirate of Sharjah will be rerouted to Tripoli Street, and then from there it will be rerouted to Emirates Road.

On the other hand, the General Command of the Ajman Police has confirmed that it has developed organized plans to deal with weather fluctuations and their effects in the emirate and in the Masfout area. These plans are being implemented while utilizing all of the available capabilities, such as vehicles, traffic patrols, and individuals, in order to guarantee readiness for rescue and to protect individuals from any emergency that may arise as a result of weather changes in runoff areas. In Masfout, there are valleys and the Khaliban Dam.

Brigadier General Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi, who is the Director General of Police Operations, stated that the process of monitoring the traffic and security situation had been coordinated. He also stated that assistance had been provided to those who were affected by the effects of the rain, that parked cars had been towed, and that locations that were affected by the rain received security measures.

As an additional point of interest, he mentioned that the traffic presence in the Masfoot region was arranged, and the reaction speed was made, in order to deal with a variety of incidents, as well as to educate members of the community about the hazards that are caused by weather variations and to encourage them to avoid areas that are impacted.

By performing their duties around the clock and maintaining a presence on all roads throughout the emirate, particularly in the Masfoot region, all of the equipped teams and traffic patrols were able to successfully address the obstacles posed by the fluctuating weather conditions.
