The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security explained that to amend the data related to the entry permit to the country, an individual needs 4 requirements and documents, through the smart channels affiliated with the authority, with a fee of 200 dirhams.
The authority stated that the system of smart services it provides to customers, under which some data is amended after submitting a request to issue an entry permit, within two working days after completing the requirements required to obtain the service.
Required Documents:
The authority added that the applicant must possess the following: The original entry permit and a copy of the passport for the beneficiary of the service. The presence of the sponsored person within the country is not required to amend the entry permit, and the presence of an approved entry permit that does not exceed 60 days from approval.
Service fees:
The authority specified that the total fees amount to 200 dirhams, including 100 dirhams for smart services fees, 50 dirhams for the application fees, and another 50 dirhams for the authority’s fees and electronic services, noting that the service fees may vary according to the data entered in the application when submitting.
Steps to modify UAE entry permit data:
The Authority revealed that to obtain the service, the applicant must begin by filling out the data, then attaching the required attachments, paying the fees, evaluating the service, and ending with receiving the transaction by e-mail, through the access channels through the smart services system.
The authority added that the UAEICP smartphone application can be used, which requires logging in using a digital ID, username, or QR code, searching for the service, filling out the application, and paying the service fees.
Customers can also visit the “Customer Happiness” centers to benefit from the service and obtain the ticket using the automated queue system by submitting an application meeting all the conditions and documents to the customer service staff and paying the service fees, adding that they can visit the nearest printing offices accredited by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security. Submit the application, fulfilling all conditions and documents, to the printing office staff, and pay the fees.
The authority noted that the application will be rejected electronically after 30 days, if it is returned due to deficiencies in the data, or failure to complete the required documents, The application will also be rejected if it is returned 3 times, adding that the fees can be refunded through the credit card for a period of 6 months.
