Dubai Police concluded the combined operation called "Pit Stop" by apprehending a wanted individual of European nationality upon their arrival at Dubai Airport from an East Asian country, which they intended to visit.
The Dubai Police General Command clarified that the individual who was apprehended is affiliated with a criminal syndicate that specializes in tax evasion through the establishment of companies with dispersed headquarters across multiple Eastern and Western European nations. However, the primary focus of their illicit operations lies within one specific Western European country, as this organization heavily relies on fraudulent practices. They fraudulently filed sales tax returns on e-commerce platforms, surpassing a total of 40 million euros.
