Urgent UAE: The Ministry of Interior begins procedures to cancel these traffic violations

The Federal Traffic Council at the Ministry of Interior has announced the initiation of a decision to cancel traffic violations committed by citizens of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman between 2018 and 2023. This decision is in response to the good brotherly initiative launched by the UAE under the directives of its wise leadership. The Ministry confirms its commitment to implementing and supporting these initiatives and decisions. This initiative has the potential to yield advantages for the general public and the collective welfare, foster strong fraternal bonds, and enhance traffic safety standards while enhancing the overall well-being of those residing in the United Arab Emirates.

The Ministries of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates and the sister Sultanate of Oman are collaborating to initiate the bilateral linking project for traffic systems, as part of their coordinated efforts and ongoing collaboration. This project is a technical initiative aimed at improving the collaborative efforts of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.

Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, the head of the Federal Traffic Council at the Ministry of Interior, expressed admiration for the fraternal initiative and the astute leadership's willingness to make significant decisions that align with the favorable attributes of Gulf societies. He highlighted the strong fraternal relationships among brothers, which contribute to the advancement of joint cooperation and the development of various fields. We strive to deliver exceptional services to our communities.

Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, the Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, commended the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to nullify all traffic violations committed by citizens of the Sultanate of Oman from 2018 to 2023. This measure aims to alleviate the hardships faced by our fellow citizens. The Sultanate of Oman, driven by its astute leadership, implements focused measures aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction across different societal sectors and promoting traffic safety.

The individual clarified that prompt action had been taken to execute the decision in accordance with the protocols of the General Police Commands at the state level, with the aim of streamlining the process of nullifying traffic infractions from 2018 to 2023 for individuals inside the fraternal Sultanate of Oman.
