This implies that vehicles will be able to take advantage of longer days of free parking beginning on Sunday, April 7, which is the day that is traditionally designated as a no-pay parking day. Ramadan 29 corresponds to Monday, April 8.

On Monday, the final day of the holy month of Ramadan, we might see the crescent moon. If this happens, the first day of Eid al-Fitr will be Tuesday, April 9. Following that, parking will be free for a period of five days until Shawwal 3, which is on Thursday, April 11, and then tariffs will be reinstated on Friday, April 12.

There will be no sighting of the moon during the holy month, which lasts for thirty days. The Islamic festival will take place on April 10, and Shawwal 3 will take place on April 12. Public parking will be free for six days, with the rate returning on Saturday, April 13.
