In an effort to provide drivers with free repairs for 400 vehicles, the Dubai Police Department has initiated a program.
Dubai: As part of a police effort, 400 drivers received free auto repairs.
Four hundred drivers in Dubai received free auto repairs as part of a police initiative.
In order to provide services, the authorities formed partnerships with petrol firms. These partnerships included providing lost and found services as well as reporting minor traffic incidents.
According to the authorities, around 400 motorists, including older persons, people of determination, and pregnant women, have benefited from the free car maintenance service that Dubai Police has provided as part of their 'On-the-Go' initiative. The authorities released this information on Friday, June 7.
In order to provide citizens of Dubai with access to police and emergency services. the program was initiated at the beginning of this year and is currently available at 138 petrol stations across the city.
When asked about the "On-the-Go" initiative, Captain Majid bin Saeed Al Kaabi, the head of the initiative, stated that "since its launch, it has generated 1,679 reports of minor traffic accidents submitted by the public at petrol stations across the emirate; 496 reports were filed against unknown parties involved in damaging a vehicle; 265 cars were repaired; 129 reports were registered through the Police Eye service; and 996 lost items were returned to their owners."
These individuals also contribute to the total of 395 people who benefited from the free car repair service.
Dubai Police collaborated with the petrol companies Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Emarat to offer a variety of services for the program.
These services include managing minor traffic accidents reports, providing lost and found services, and repairing automobiles.
In addition to reporting basic traffic accidents and missing persons, Police Eye also handles reports of numerous con artists and online crimes. Police Eye also receives tips from overseas, primarily related to illegal narcotics.
