The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the Emirates announced that Monday, January 1, 2024, is an official paid holiday for all workers in the private sector in the country on the occasion of New Year’s Day.
This announcement came in implementation of the Cabinet’s decision regarding the approved official holidays for the government and private sectors.
Paid official holiday in Sharjah:
On a related level, the Department of Human Resources in the Emirate of Sharjah announced that the New Year’s holiday 2024 AD for the departments, bodies and institutions of the Sharjah Government will be on Monday, corresponding to 1/1/2024 AD, with official work resuming on Tuesday, corresponding to January 2, 2024 AD.
Paid official holiday in Ajman:
The Department of Human Resources in the Ajman Municipality also issued a circular regarding the New Year’s holiday 2024 AD in the Ajman government, where it was decided that Monday, January 1, 2024, will be an official holiday, and official work will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 AD.
On this occasion, the Human Resources Department extended its highest congratulations and blessings to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates, asking God to return it to them with good health and wellness.
Ajman Police achieves the record:
On the other hand, Ajman Police reported that it was able to reach first place in the world in speed of response time last year 2022 with a time of 2:28 (two minutes and 28 seconds), breaking a record in response time to emergency cases locally and globally, and this indicator is one of the indicators of the national agenda that It enhances the country’s position as a global leader in global competitiveness indicators.
She explained that this achievement is the result of the efforts made by Ajman Police to achieve the shortest time in responding to emergency and critical reports through the implementation of innovative projects and initiatives that aim as a whole to ensure that patrols reach reports within the targeted time.
