Urgent.. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid announces a federal law regarding traffic

The individual referred to as "His Highness" Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has confirmed that the UAE Genome Program has successfully gathered over 600,000 samples from different regions of the country. He also mentioned that efforts are being made to broaden the program's reach to one million samples. Additionally, more than 1,000 medical personnel have been trained to assist this program.

The royal figure expressed his statement on the "X" platform: Today, I presided over a Cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, we received a detailed update on the accomplishments of the Emirates Genome Council. The Emirati Genome Program has successfully gathered over 600,000 samples from different regions of the country thus far. Additionally, efforts are currently being made to expand the program's reach to one million samples. Over 1,000 of our medical personnel underwent training to provide assistance for this program.

His Highness stated that the participation of over 600,000 citizens in this program is crucial for creating a comprehensive database of genetic and hereditary diseases in the country. This will facilitate the development of targeted medications for these diseases and ultimately lead to improved healthcare for future generations.

The royal leader urged all individuals to collaborate with the extensive national healthcare initiative, with the aim of fostering a healthier society and future generations. In the near future, a pilot program will be initiated to provide pre-marital screening for all genetic and inherited disorders... Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed leads the Emirates Genome Council. The government has made significant progress in strengthening its global scientific standing in this subject... and is now leveraging this new research to produce inclusive and interconnected healthcare for future generations.

His Highness announced that, during the meeting, we sanctioned the establishment of a task force led by the Ministry of Economy. The purpose of this task force is to enhance the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country, and to devise a fresh strategy for its operations and its contribution to bolstering the economy, expanding market access, and forging new international alliances. Additionally, the task force aims to facilitate the entry of local companies into global markets, thereby fostering rapid economic growth. The state necessitates continuous structural modifications to keep up with the evolving circumstances.

His Highness stated that the country has approved the principles and recommendations of the International Code for the Protection of Tourists issued by the United Nations Tourism Organization. These principles will serve as a guideline for our tourism institutions and the implementation of its principles in economic matters. The UAE ranks among the global leaders in terms of safety and surpasses many nations in the region and worldwide in international tourism. Our ongoing economic efforts include international cooperation to enhance the provision of superior services for international tourism.

His Highness stated that during the Cabinet meeting, it was decided that the Ministry of Finance will represent the country and monitor its involvement in the different working groups of the financial track of the recently joined BRICS group. This will be done in collaboration with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. Our inclusion in this significant global economic alliance demonstrates our eagerness to collaborate with all parties and establish economic connections with all active economic blocs worldwide, showcasing our dedication to fostering diversified global economic relationships.

The monarch stated that during the current session, a comprehensive plan for achieving long-term and environmentally-friendly government digital transformation was also approved. In addition, we have implemented a set of guidelines, known as a charter, that governs the application of artificial intelligence within our country. These guidelines are designed to adhere to the most stringent safety and privacy requirements, and to guarantee a beneficial and enduring influence on society.

His Highness stated that today we have also authorized the implementation of a federal law on traffic. This law encompasses modifications to the categorization of cars and the integration of cutting-edge technologies on the roads, in order to align with the swift advancements observed in worldwide transportation. The new policy aligns with the growing prevalence of self-driving vehicles, electric cars, and other forms of personal transportation, as well as their increasing usage. Regarding transportation, it is important to utilize the technological advancements that define the road network of the country.
