A high-ranking representative from Archer Aviation, a flying taxi company, provided an explanation on Thursday regarding the operation of the service within the country. According to a recent article by Khaleej Times, the futuristic journey might cost a passenger approximately Dh350 when traveling from point A to point B in Dubai.
Archer Aviation's chief commercial officer, Nikhil Goel, concurred that the fee for such journeys inside cities would be anywhere between Dh300 and Dh350. However, if a commuter were to travel from one emirate to another, the fare would range anywhere from Dh800 to Dh1,500.
Goel emphasized the ease by stating that using air taxis could cut the normally sixty to ninety-minute journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to just ten to twenty minutes.
The ultra-wealthy might also take advantage of high-end service and make reservations for private air taxis, according to Goel.
Additionally, the official revealed that the company may be prepared to begin its air taxis by the end of the year 2025, given that certification is currently in the last phases of the process.
"Within the next 18 to 24 months, you are going to see passengers here in the UAE flying on our aircraft from one point to another," Goel explained to reporters.
